Dr. Daiki Tanaka, DDS, PhD

I believe the most important part of dentistry is making sure you truly understand your own oral health. That's why I take the time to show you exactly what I see — using photos, CT scans, and digital imaging — so we can set treatment goals together, as a team.
I chose to open my practice near Yokota Air Base because I wanted to help military families who have been relocated to a country with a different language and culture.
Having worked with embassy patients and international communities in Tokyo, I understand the importance of clear communication in a language you're comfortable with.
Whether you need a routine checkup or advanced treatment, my goal is always the same: less repair, more care.

We accept PPO insurance as an out-of-network provider. We do not offer direct billing, but we can provide the necessary paperwork for you to submit a claim to your insurance company.
Yes. Dr. Tanaka is fluent in English and conducts all consultations, diagnoses, and treatment planning in English. All documentation, including treatment plans, invoices, and insurance claim forms, is available in English with ADA codes included. We are happy to assist with any paperwork necessary for insurance reimbursement.
We are located at 2302-1 Fussa, Fussa-shi, Tokyo (Baseside Route 16, 1F).
JR Higashi-Fussa Station is a 10-minute walk, and Yokota Air Base Gate 2 is a 4-minute walk. We do not have on-site parking, but a coin parking lot is available within a 1-minute walk.
We do not currently accept Japanese National Health Insurance (NHI). All services are provided on a self-pay basis. We provide all necessary documentation for you to claim reimbursement from your insurance provider. This may change in the future — please contact us for the latest information.
We accept cash and major credit/debit cards via our cashless payment terminal.
Installment payment arrangements may be available upon consultation.

Yes. We accept emergency cases for all urgent dental symptoms, including severe toothache, broken teeth, lost fillings, and trauma.
Emergency care is primarily available during office hours. After-hours care may be possible depending on availability, and an out-of-office-hours fee may apply.
